Circadian

A speculative future-of-work proposal for JLL.

Circadian is a speculative workplace proposal developed for Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), responding to a brief that questioned how the future of work and workplace might evolve through insights drawn from sports science and human performance.

Rather than applying sports science solely to improve productivity within existing working structures, Circadian reconsiders the structure itself. Inspired by the on- and off-season cycles of athletes, the project proposes an alternative rhythm of work across both daily and annual scales, balancing periods of heightened performance with deliberate recovery.

The proposal reframes productivity as cyclical rather than constant, envisioning a workplace where time, performance and recovery operate as interconnected parts of a more adaptive working system.
