Making web accessibility visible to government leadership.
Baby Steps is a three-stage initiative designed to advance the visibility and adoption of web accessibility in Singapore. Conceived to complement the Enabling Masterplan 2030, the project approaches accessibility not only as a design consideration, but as an organisational and systemic challenge requiring awareness, understanding and action.
The initiative begins by building greater visibility around web accessibility, before engaging C-suite decision-makers with the implications of inaccessible digital experiences. It ultimately connects organisations with A11y Playground’s existing outreach framework, creating a pathway for government organisations to move from awareness towards implementation.
Developed as part of the A11y Playground × NAFA Live Client Project, Baby Steps was awarded the Overall Winner Prize.
